Acceptable Use Policy
Rules for safe, lawful, and reliable use of Psilent Enterprises services.
Draft effective date: September 20, 2026
1. Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to websites, hosting accounts, domains, email, storage, support systems, managed services, and other technology services supplied by Psilent Enterprises. Use of any service means the customer and its authorized users must follow this policy.
2. Lawful use
Services may be used only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, contracts, intellectual-property rights, privacy obligations, and provider or registry requirements.
3. Prohibited activity
Customers may not use the services to:
- distribute malware, ransomware, spyware, malicious code, or tools intended to compromise systems;
- conduct phishing, credential theft, fraud, impersonation, or deceptive schemes;
- gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, networks, or data;
- send unlawful bulk email, spam, or messages that violate consent or opt-out requirements;
- host or distribute content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, exploitative, or that unlawfully threatens or harasses others;
- interfere with service availability through denial-of-service activity, abusive automation, scanning, or excessive resource consumption;
- circumvent security, usage, billing, or access controls;
- use a domain, email account, or hosted service to misrepresent identity or source;
- resell or provide access to a service where the applicable plan or written agreement does not permit it.
4. Email and messaging
Customers must use accurate sender information, obtain legally required consent, honor unsubscribe and opt-out requests, secure mailing lists, and comply with anti-spam and communications laws. Purchased, harvested, or unlawfully obtained contact lists are prohibited.
5. Security responsibilities
Customers are responsible for account credentials, authorized users, software updates, application security, backups under their control, and activity originating from their accounts. Suspected compromise must be reported promptly to support@psilententerprises.com.
6. Resource use
Hosting resources must be used within the limits of the selected plan and in a manner that does not materially degrade shared infrastructure. Psilent Enterprises may require remediation or a plan change when usage threatens performance, security, or service stability.
7. Enforcement
Psilent Enterprises may investigate suspected violations and may restrict or suspend affected services when reasonably necessary to protect customers, infrastructure, third parties, or legal compliance. Where practical, notice and an opportunity to correct the issue will be provided. Serious, repeated, or unlawful violations may result in termination consistent with the Terms of Service and applicable law.
8. Reporting abuse
Report suspected abuse, security incidents, or policy violations to support@psilententerprises.com. Include the affected domain or service, relevant dates, and supporting details.
9. Policy changes
This policy may be updated as services, security requirements, provider rules, or applicable law change. The current version will be posted on the Psilent Enterprises website.
